Help and support

Something not working, a question about your garden's dates, or an idea for the app? We'd like to hear it.

Email us

Write to support@gardenplotter.org and we'll get back to you. It helps to say whether you're on the website or the iPhone app, and what you tapped just before things went wrong.

Emails from noreply@gardenplotter.org (sign-in codes, frost and heat warnings, the Sunday email) can't take replies.

Common questions

My frost dates look wrong.
They come from the weather station nearest your garden, which may be warmer or colder than your yard. Open Settings (the profile button), choose Frost dates, and type the dates that are right for you. Every sowing and planting date follows from them.
How do I keep my garden if I switch phones or computers?
Sign in from Settings with your email address. We email you a six-digit code, and your garden stays in step between every device you sign in on. On the website you can also continue with Google.
My sign-in code hasn't arrived.
Check your spam or junk folder for an email from noreply@gardenplotter.org. A code works for 10 minutes. If it's still missing after a minute, ask for a new one.
I used the earlier Garden Plotter. Where's my garden?
Sign in with the same email address and the app offers to bring your garden over: beds, crops, dates, harvests, journal notes and bed photos. If you've already started a garden here, you'll find "Bring over your earlier garden" in Settings.
How do I stop the emails?
Every frost, heat and Sunday email has a link at the bottom to turn it off. You can also turn each kind on or off in Settings, under Emails.
Can I share a garden with someone?
Yes. Sign in, open Settings, then Sharing, and send the invitation link. It works once, for 7 days. Everyone in a shared garden sees the same beds, crops, journal and jobs, and up to 6 people can share one.
The garden helper says I've used my questions.
The helper is free, so each gardener gets 10 questions a day. They come back at midnight where your garden is. The rest of the app works as always.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings, choose Delete account, and confirm. It deletes your account and everything saved to it on every device, photos included, along with anything from the earlier Garden Plotter. It can't be undone. The garden on the device you're holding stays until you choose Start over.
